I suppose the poor dude has had other things to think of tho, but I'll bet money he sent his own label off P.D.Q. I'll go to the Red Cross this afternoon and see if I can still get a box because, of course, the ship has gone. I'm sorry it had to be this way because I'd like to send you other things, but you'll be home soon, dearest, and anyway this isn't going to be a regular Christmas for anyone. We'll just count this one out and forget it. I wrote Father R. because it's his birthday. Did you forget it? I love you constantly, dearest. Nov. 25th '18 -- Daphne.
