have, and it will be hard work for both of us. I do want you to see this house, and yet I know I can't keep it if we'll be going to Iowa City soon. Do you suppose you will, or do you suppose you'd want to work here until next fall? Golly, I wish you might be home for the second semester. Wont you let me know soon as possible what to do, because if I must sublet this place, I must get busy. If you even find out approximately when you might come home, couldn't you cable "last of December" or "New Years" just anything so it isn't too far away. I know you'll make every effort to get back, but I'm so impatient. Devotedly, Daphne
