the thermometer in my mouth could worry about that. I took the powders she shovelled on my tongue without protest. And soon I was getting over my indisposition. Alongside of me was a fine dummy colonel, and the whole menagerie was interesting. So I got on very pleasantly. The only annoying thing is that I'm being delayed about reporting for my new duties. That will not make them any easier, but I shall not worry on that score yet. More than anything else I have passed the time by
