I remember New Years eve when Mrs. Dingbat made her offering of egg nogg. Honey chile, you'll never know how full of tears I was all that day and evening. It was so hard to keep them back. New Years day meant--oh so many things. I couldn't begin to express it. I'd do it badly and ruin the sentiment, but you'll understand. It was the beginning, really, of my life and everything was so uncertain that I couldn't help worrying about you. Dear, I love you so devotedly!
