Saving...
pages in some books that had been badly used up. I refused. It wasn't my work, and I didn't intend to play janitor for Grace Shields. Then she began offering suggestions that peeved me into saying "Well really, Miss Shields, I did go to school." She went out and told Mr. Boale she was very pleased with me, but she didn't tell me, you bet. Hussy! Do I bore you to death? I suppose so. But I'm no good. As I said, this has been a bad day. I'm having trouble with Mrs. Harrison over leaving here, but Earnest says "I have her goat." I don't want any real trouble over it tho, of course, but she refuses to accept even her best friend as a tenant, and I think Ive done all that's required of me now. I intend to move Feb. 1st. She may as well understand me. Brrr! I'm pow'ful cross, I am. But always I love my tramp husband. Are you ever coming home to your "No 'count wife" Jan 14th '19
