to your piano, which is one of the worth while things of life. With the start you've got with it you mustn't spend your life sweeping floors and washing dishes and neglecting it. Cooking is something else; it's such a jolly art you'd lose something if you didn't dabble in it, as I know from your letters you have already discovered. I'll be glad to take a hand in that myself when you'll let me. The future for us continues to be both disturbing and agreeably uncertain. Iowa City will be our home unless something prevents; that's about all we can say. Incidentally if we go there we may find it hard to get a regular apartment such as we'd want. Apartments are few and much in demand. But it wouldn't be long until we'd have something good. A house wouldn't be so bad if you had your old man to do the chores around it, would it?
