Sunday night February 2. 1919 Beautiful, - The board of trustees having concluded their meeting. I find it possible to start a letter. Ever since dinner our happy family of four has been casting up the January accounts, and, as a result, debating ways and means of holding down February expenses. One of the measures adopted is closer supervision of what goes on in the kitchen. I'm elected for the first turn at telling the cook what to buy and watching what she does with it. Pity me - and the other three! We moved Saturday into the apartment one floor up from where we were. This apartment is infinitely more comfortable, chiefly because it has in it two stoves
