You've not forgotten what I told you about the time I sat down too hard on the floor and nearly had a wreck on the main line ?No? Well, if I hadn't been the proud unhappy possessor of what is commonly termed "false modesty" I'd have had that attended to at once but I didn't. You can guess why I didn't want to, dear. It meant much to me, and I believed it would to you when ever you should come into my life.
