Saving...
I'm going home until I see France sink into space in the wake of the ship. But everything is assuring so far. And really the big step is over. Only bad luck can cheat me now. Captain Stone said other things about hating to see me go, and liking the way I have handled a difficult situation and wishing me success and happiness, all showing what a decent chief he is. He didn't need to add the blarney; I'd have loved him for nothing but leave to go home; but I love him all the more for being so human toward me. Are you 'appy? And will you have bocoo kisses ready for your prodigal husband? I'll be so starved from going without your kisses, honey, that I'll need all you can possibly give me - and so overloaded with the kisses I have saved for you that I'll want to shower them on you. Nothing must hinder our reunion
