Feb 18, 1919 Beloved old Hubs - I'm so wild over your cable that I forgive you even the spree with the Iowa girls (dahm their vampish eyes!) I suppose I'll hear from you again by cable, with a more definite date. If not I shall hit for N.Y. about the middle of March. But it wont be any fun unless I can meet your ship. Howm I'gonna? Where do you get this Hubbub idea? In my dictionary that word is described as a great noise. Think you're that much? Well I'll soon give you the right idea of your place in our family. T'won't (pretty word) take me long, either. Oh my dearest, how can I ever wait until March for you!!
