March 2, 1919 My Very Own, - I want you! All day I have been obliged to see how happy the Sanborns are together and so to have impressed upon me how empty my existence is as compared with what it might be. And I know their happiness is nothing to what ours would be and will be, for Mrs. Sanborn, wonderful as she is, isn't my Wiffles. We talked a great deal about you. The Sanborns are much disappointed that you are not here and insist that I get demobilized here and have you come over for the time until I go back to the University.
