Saving...
me up temporarily in the States. But what the 'ell! I'll be getting home. Honey, I don't think I'm going to buy much stuff to bring home. The first and foremost reason is that I'll not have much money. The second is that I can see little use of buying anything but distinctly souvenir things; other things can be had in america in better quality and at a cheaper rate. And finally there isn't much use our spending money or other than personal effects, is there, until we know where we are going to be and what kind of place we shall live in? I'll be handicapped for carrying space. My bedding roll which always was good for one thing more is evidently gone forever, - and with it unfortunately, some of the best mementos of my travels.
