Saving...
Thursday. March 6. 1919 My Sweetheart, - I love you heaps. That is the first thing that pops into my head to say. Of course you won't believe it because I'm such a tramp and a bum about coming home to you. Here it is the night when I had expected to start home to you and I'm not starting no move'n nothin! But that aren't my fault. I should be very down-hearted if this other plan that may bring you to me quicker than I could get to you anyway were not in the air. As things are I'm not crying before the milk is all spilled. There is nothing new on The Tribune offer. I'm still waiting to hear whether the Chicago office approves it. I am not allowing myself to believe that the thing will work out.
