Saving...
May 31st '19 My dears,- It is nearly ten o'clock (P.M.). Conger has been gone since nine and won't be back before three. It seems awfully hard becoming adjusted to these hours because I lost so much sleep in N.Y. and on the steamer that I'm ready for bed by nine every night. But if I go to bed so early I wake up too early in the morning and I have to lie there awake without daring to move for fear I'll waken Conger.
