We had the presents piled around the base. I distributed them to the three of us - for we took Rosa in on the fun. Then we opened the packages and did our exclamations of surprise and delight. We are very grateful for your envelope. The money will go to a fund which you probably hadn't thought of. It will buy things for the baby. Yep, we're going to have one before next Christmas. At least the doctor told us a few days ago that it was reasonably sure - he would know positively later. So we look forward to next August with high expectations - too happy for words. Daphne's ma sent some money, too, that goes into the same fund. Other Christmas things for us included two waists for Daphne and socks and a tie for me. Daphne gave me a nice wedding ring as
