walk on the Champs-Elysies, saw a movie, dropped in at the office and came home to a nice dinner that Rosa had made of the abundant leftovers from last night. You should have seen me carve last night!! We are considerably short on dishes and implements. The goose was too big for the platter and very juicy. By the time I had finished operations I had a lake of juice and grease around my plate and my hands needed considerable wiping. We laughed and made the best of the situation - it didn't really matter. Betty and her man are adaptable to such a situation. Paris was celebrating last night as it hasn't for six years.
