had a nice time when John went to hitch up to come home one of the horses steped on the buggy tongue and broke it John and Mort had to mend it before we could go home I made my new apron on Linies machine Jim Wallace Lintha & I played sinch this Eve Jim & I beat Lint and Wallace Wed Jan 28 it was a stormy day snowed & blew until about 2 oclock in the afternoon & about 5 in the eve it commenced to rain & rained most all night but not very cold John & (Vine?) Peters came here to day they stayed all day (Vine?) went home in the eve John stayed all night Charley Lang is here all night to night I Iorned this fornoon and sewed lace on a pair of pillow cases & visited the rest of the day
