& blowing hard we finished sawing wood this fornoon I ironed Mother & I make some mince meat to day Lintha turned a sheet to day Johny & Addie Yeadan left this part of the world to day Al Allbright & Baby died this afternoon at 2 oclock of brain fever Wed Feb 25 it has been cold & windy to day I went to visit Mrs Ogle & Meriah Shaffer had a nice visit Al Allbrights little boy was buried at 2 oclock this afternoon father & mother went to the funeral I made 2 mince pies Th Feb 26 it is a cold windy day I washed Allie & Dell was here this afternoon I patch some (illegible) to day Fri Feb 27 this has been a stormy cold day Mother & Will was at Linies all day I made 4 mince pies Will & Jim went to Ogles to spend the Evening
