sat Feb 28 A very cold day Mother & Bill went to *** this forenoon ^ *** I was at Mrs Leaxxwells at a sing This eve & went home with Stella Patterson & stayed all night & had a good time Sun March 1 a cold day & snowed a little I came home this eve from uncle Jacks at 5 o clock mon March 2 has snowed all day but hasn't been very cold father & the boys went to school election Mr **** Kimball was elected first-d*** some*** work to day I have same ***work the boys & Lint is playing *inch Tues March 3 it snowed most all day but not very cold Mother Lint & Bill & I all went over to Linus went by Lizzies & she & little boys went along us went in a sled but was **** rough the a*** is no light
