Mon May 4 A cold day the boys had to ware mittens to place I made mother a pare of pance this fornoon & went to the widow Kohlers this afternoon they gave me some pink roots & dahlia roots I had a nice time Tues May 5 A nice day but cold mornings & Evenings I washed baked bread to day Wed May 6 A nice day but not very warm it is so cold night & mornings I scrubed hung out & starched some clothes made me a blue apron made some buttonholes in the boys shirts Th May 7 A nice day I ironed this fornoon patched this afternoon Linie & Babies was here this afternoon I went a pirce & helped her with the children Fri May 8 I went to Linies this Eve & stayed all night it has been a nice day but so dry & dusty
