sat May 23 has been a nice growing day I scrubed baked bread & fried cakes & went to the grave yard & decorated the little girls graves with nice boquets Mrs Bayls & Ed was here this Eve the Marshal Band just went by down to Marian Baldwins little Lizzie was here to day came home with father he was at Linies sun May 24 has been rather a cold cloudy day rained some this afternoon I went over to uncle jacks & stella Nora Flosie & Eldred went to Elgin to take Irene down to work & I went with them had a good fast ride Mon May 25 has been a cold cloudy day father went to uncle Mort Kingmans & got a sack of potatoes I made me a nite cap to day & helped but potatoes to plant the boys are planting corn Tues May 26 A nice warm day but rather cold & cloudy this morning Father
