mon June 15 has been fearful hot to day & is getting afal dry we nead rain affal bad I wove all day mother was sick Bills sow had 7 little pigs to day Tues June 16 was awful hot this fornoon & it rained affal hard at noon a lovely rain I washed this fornoon & cleaned the chamber windows this afternoon we had a strawberry short cake for dinner it is nice & cool the wind is cool wed June 17 has been a cold damp day we had a hard rain this morning I blacked the stove & cleaned the wood work in the chamber to day Th June 18 A cold cloudy day rained some I Ironed scrubed baked & (illegible) Mother finished (illegible) Probsts carpet I am going to Linies to night
