Mary A. gave me some apples to bring home had a nice visit to day we came home this Eve & I am tiard good night iam for bed Mon Aug 31 A real nice day I washed father & I went to Wadena this afternoon I am going to stay with Minnie Baldwin tonight she came up after me, Marian is going Tues sept 1 A real nice day pretty cool for the time of year Evenings & Mornings are real cool Mother & I have been making apple butter & canning apples & plumbs we made some lovely apple jelly I ironed we bought some tinware of a peddler Mary Wickham has a baby Wed sept 2 A real nice day a little cool I went on the Keener place & picked plumbs this afternoon the men are making hay recant crop Mother & I are busy caning apples & making apple butter Jim was home this Eve bill went to Elgin this Eve
