Fri sept 18 A fearfull hot day father Mr Ogle & I went to Elgin this fornoon Grace sim & Liz & little boys was here to day I got my dress Mrs Burger collared to day sat sept 19 A very warm day we have the thrashers to day it is teriable hot to cook for them Al & I went over to the grave yard Sam Roland wife was buried I saw Mr Isac Conner it was his daughter sunday sept 20 A very warm day I was at Uncle Jacks this afternoon to see Rene F Crooks was there Father Mother & I was alone for dinner we had fryed chicken & baked potatoes Mon sept 21 A very warm day we finished Thrashing to day Al helped us she has gone home Mother has gone to Ogles Maggie is here with me she came with her papa this morning
