this afternoon he helped uncle Jack Patterson thresh I patched Willber came after Bill Meriah Shaffer was here this Eve Th Oct 29 A very windy day but not cold Mother washed to day Bill helped Kimpstons thrash Allie & I went down to Klingmans to get the Kraut cutter but Mrs K wasent at home so we dident get it we drove clint & John I got the feathers & ribbon I sent for to the boston store & it is nice we made a kettle of plumb butter 2 gallon Fri Oct 30 A very windy day but not cold we made 2 gallons more of plumb butter I baked bread ironed & knit sat Oct 31 A very very windy disagreeable day cold mother made the Kraut to day I made plumb butter and churned scrubed & lots of other things & now I am going to bed good night
