wed Dec 18 A cold gloomy day Wallace had the shreaders they broke down had to go to Elgin this afternoon such a mess I don't like it are here to night th Dec 19 A cold day we still have the sreders a pipe bursted on the engine had to go to town this morning dident shred but a few minutes this fornoon am so tired of them Fri Dec 20 A fine day & a fine eve such a beautiful moon light got through shreading at eleven oclock to day am so glad Nellie Foxwell called to engage Mother the stork is flying around close at their place
