50 THE RED BUTTON (continued from page 38) Eddie saw Frank a week later. Eddie was just ascending from the front steps of The Country Club, when Frank lurched thru the entrance; a ferocious scowl on his face - & an agitated waiter in close pursuit. He took no notice of Eddie, but strode directly (as directly as he could!) to his car, angle-parked just opposite the steps. Frank was in his cups again. Between his rubbery legs & the waiter hauling on hos coattails, he was having some difficulty getting in. He finally pushed the man away for a moment, flopped in behind the wheel & slammed the door. Eddie saw him push the red button. The waiter was of the never-say-die type. He was back at the car-side instantly, shoving a check in front of Frank's face. Frank took the check, tore it up, & threw the pieces in the fellow's face. "Go to Hell!" he snarled. The car backed up with a suddenness that spun the waiter around like a top (depositing him none too gently in some shrubbery) & carried itself halfway up the club steps, causing Eddie to leap for his life. WHY CAN'T YOU WRITE? It's much simpler than you think! Many people have the "germ" of writing in them but simply have never gotten around to doing it. Many are convinced the only persons gifted with genius can write. Few realize that most of the Solar System can write! Xpq Zplmk, of Mars, writes: "Before I started your course my friends thought I was illiterate, but only six weeks after I took your course, I could write my name!" Don't delay!
