Aug 4, 1943 Dear Mr. Hall Here at the (illegible) we do no work and spend much of our time sun bathing & playing at sports. I have learned the English games of foot ball-socker, rugger, cricket, & being we have three or four golf clubs we have made some golf balls & laid out a small course (illegible) the camp. There is a good Scotch golfer here & I am trying to learn the swing so I may play when I get home. We live in land huts in rooms with about 8 to 10 fellows. This camp we get quite a cross section of the world as all of Englands counts are represented. A number of fellows are studying various (illegible) as we are allowed books from home. Only some of us are allowed to send clothing parcels, but games parcels may be sent
