Mon Apri 3 A gloomy day I baked bread ginger snaps made some candy & popcorn balls for Russell which was fine am tired & sleepy Tues Apri 4 A gloomy day no sunshine rained some this morning & is raining this eve I made a lot of (hulders?) rote 2 letters to Augusta A Annie R Wallace went after coal Mother heped Lena with carpet rags Wed Apri 5 Another gloomy day had no sunshine so far this week I made a chair cushion & other odd jobs
