Fri Oct 6 A very gloomy day Lena finished my waists have 3 new ones am so glad Aunt Beckie Curtess is 73 to day she got a lot of birthday cards I did Lenies work sat Oct 7 A nice afternoon gloomy fornoon I finished of my waists this eve I have a very lame back I made some mixed pickle 1½ gallan is real good I wanted to do a lot more work to day but my back was too lame sun Oct 8 A fine day Wallace went after Aunt B & Mother at Wadena my back is still lame
