-- S - F Collector -- Page Twenty-One A Legend Of Wollheim DALE HART Attention, Mr. Rosenblum. I hear through Daniel McPhail that you are a collector of myths. You doubtless have quaint legends from all ages and all races. But here's one from the annals of s-f fandom. I copies it from a manuscript in the archives of Fantasy Fandom, a powerful organization that will rise out of the ruins of those now extant. I copies the myth while on a jaunt into the future of 1964. Quote: "There has been many bizarre accounts of a mysterious personage called Donald A. Wollheim bandied about in fan circles. But one account seems to be general and well-founded, if more than a little fantastic. Now, the appearance, works, and actions of Mr. Wollheim are shrouded in obscurity. It is now difficult to interpret anything, especially the garbled stories.
