FUNTASY (Cont. from Page) sight of Louis Kuslan sitting there with a girl. His arm was around her waist, and her head was on his shoulder, as they both read the latest issue of MUSHY SCIENCE-FICTION LOVE STORIES. As I wended my weary way thru the crowd, I was attracted by a small group of fans at one side of the hall. On pushing my way through, I found F.J Ackerman delivering an oration on the beauty of the American language and condemning anyone who would change it in any way. As I was rudely pushed back by the protesting fans, I fell into the arms of Walter E. Marconette who was passing out petitions for the exclusion of pictures of girls in s-f magazines. As I attempted to escape from the hall, I was stopped by Robert G. Thompson who told me to write to all s-f editors urging them not to print stories dealing with time travel because they were childish. Suddenly I felt something shake me, and as I opened my eyes, I saw a man dressed like a conductor on the subway leering at me and saying, "Come on bum; this is the last stop!" _._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._.
