carry out your suggestions. Nuff sed. -Arthur H. Rapp This is ro announce that I am filing as a candidate for the Directorate of the National Fantasy Fan Federation in the coming election. I believe that I possess the necessary qualifications. I have served as chairman on several important committees of the Easter Science Fiction Association, the largest fan club in the country, and have a thorough knowledge of teamwork. I am a member of the Queens Science Fiction League, another influential organization. I am a member of FAPA and SAPS. I have ample time for fan activities, as my job requires remarkably little of my time. I am a friend of Rick Sneary. If elected, I promise to cooperate in every way with my fellow directors, and support projects that benifit the NFFF. I also promise to vigorously attack projects that do not benifit the club as a whole, and which merely waste the club's money. Your support in the coming election will be greatly appreciated, and I will repay it by honest and sincere effort. -Joe Schaumburger Announcing my candidacy for the board of Directorate in the fourth-coming election. This is my first step toward office seeking in the NFFF, and so would appreciate your consideration and vote. I will support more activity along the line of writing, editing, & publishing more and better zines - supporting the Manuscript Bureau - contributing material to the OO and other zines published by fellow members. Such projects as The Year Book and Who's Who, I will support. Above all I will try to do my duty as a Director, serving the best of my ability. -Eva Jane Clevenger I'm up for re-election to the Directorate of NFFF, and naturally would appreciate your support in the election coming up. I want to be elected - not because I'm your friend, not because I'm on the board now, not because you just think I should have it - no - but I want to be elected because I am the right man for the job, have the energy and the ability to carry on as a director, one who will think and act for the good of our organization. I have tried to support the best things coming up this term - many got nowhere, many still are hanging fire - but I supported those I thought were OK, both for you and for me. I will always support the Official Organ, Manuscript Bureau, Year Book, Who's Who, and other worthwhile projects that may come up. At present, I have six zines coming out in November, know as The Editors Efforts, and I opened the pages of each for contributions from each and every member of NFFF. You are still welcome and are urged to contribute material for these zines. The sale from Editors Efforts will go to the NFFF. Coming up in December will be the StfAlbum, a combozine, which is also open to all members and clubs and associations. I have even gone as far as to state that for each club or association who will cut eight (8) stencils and send same to me, that I will mimeo and (7)
