I expected to get back in school what I really meant was that I had given up my idea of getting into the money-making game. Those "Little Grey Home in the West" dreams are evaporated. I have all the time there is to get ready to run a ranch of my own so I figured on going back to school till I settled the Freedom of the Will and a few other things. A better employment, however is open. A limited number of appointments in the regular army are to be made from the students here. The appointments are for commissions as second lieuts but the standards are higher than for the reserve and I feel that such a commission is
