Saving...
I'm going to the theatre twice today. Cyril Maude puts on "Grumpy" at a matinee and "Caste" this evening. Miss McC. will go "mot" avec this evening. We've been shooting this week on the new course. Half the shooting at all ranges is from the standing position in regulation trenches. It's lots of fun to coach. A man gets a miss so his coach (if he wants some practice) say, "Let's see what's the matter." Then the coach has to try out the gun, till he sees what's wrong with the sights. It's a great life if you don't weaken, but *7%%% if you do." I'm still undecided about going home. I rather think that I'll try to get down this month. Mother doesn't seem to want to come here and if I can get permission to go my fare will be only about a cent a mile under the new regulation. Hurrah for McAdoo! I'll vote for him for next president. We're hoping to get out of here any time after this month and we surely will feel like boys out of school when we get our orders to pack up. Of course we don't know. Most of our information comes from the newspapers but we all "have a feeling." Greet Nesta for me, please. I'm glad to see her back. Tell the others that all is well on the banks of the Minnesota. Cheerfully, Bob *Ask Dr. Faris P.S. -- !!!*! I just remembered! Explosively, Bob
