and have reverted to my before the war schedule of bedtimes, turning in any time after one o'clock but usually before two. It's a bit harder than it was at Iowa, however, as I have to make [reveille?] instead of an eight o'clock and [reveille?] is at six. The moon has made it very light at [reveille?] lately and we turn the clock back next Sunday so it's not so bad. I spent a very pleasant weekend in New York a couple of weeks ago, in conference with a Red Cross Secretary from Washington who was visiting Admiral Sims' brother's family in The Metropolis. This same secretary was attacked by influenza on her return to Washington but reported today that she was able to be up for the first time and might leave the hospital in two or three days.
