Saving...
Capitus and the Explorers Presented by the National Fantasy Fan Federation. Written and drawn by William (Bill) Kroll. 9/6/48 The rocket trembled as its hull scraped the surface of the uncharted planet. Strangely clothed figures emerged from one of the protruding plastic air locks on the craft. Capitus did not know what the things emerging were, so he stayed hidden. Suddenly without any warning, one of the explorers whipped out his weapon and fired at a mineral. Capitus then knew what was next. The mineral was JR-6 on this planet from which the men came. It was more valuable than even life. This is hard for Capitas to conceive, for the morals of his people are very high. Then Capitus seen a sight that sickened his very core. The last man-thing to remain alive dashed to the space-ship -- only to find that he was stranded on this strange planet; a hole had been punctured in the fuel tank. So, while Capitus had watched the explorers fight among themselves, his mate had fed herself -- on the fuel!!
