th Oct 28 A nice day Aulden went almost to Elkader after a shreader went after it with the fordson brot it as far as Andy Yeerouses left it till morning he went to West Union this eve to Dr Riners Lena Ella & Dortha went with him Ella went to have ther teeth looked after Fri Oct 29 A fine day Lena Aulden & I went to Jap Maors funeral this afternoon a large funeral Wallace couldent go his face is all swelled from the tooth he had pulled & he dident feel well enough so he stayed home alone
