Wed Jan 3 A gloomy day not very cold we canned 18 qts beef 14 yesterday we have 46 in all now going to can more no sleigh yet Th Jan 4 snowed last night some & this fornoon a while is colder this eve not bad Fri Jan 5 A nice day I ironed Lena sold some chickens took them too Wadena got 16 c Russell & Sam Flanagan has gone to a party tonight Burch Minahanes pretty cold this eve sat Jan 6 snowed this afternoon we sawed wood this afternoon
