wed Dec 26 John & Essie took us to Quincy where we took the train in the evening after we all spent the day in Quincy we arrived in Cedar Rapids at 1215 got a taxi went to Mrs Noans for the rest of the night took the train at 840 AM arrived in Elgin around noon Wallace was there to meet us I was pretty tired when I got home Grany Ogle died Christmas eve Irine Crooks was buried 23
