a nice day Lena sele Denler & I caned 43 qts beef today 16 qts stake 27 qts cold pack I am tired too Wallace was at Elgin got the horses shod a truck brot a load of shelled corn here today we sent Aulden a comforter for his bed today the land lady furnishes blankets but no comforters so his mate has one & Aulden sent for one we sent it today sat Jan 8 A good day thawed we cold packd 28 qts beef & caned 15 qts stake Wallace went to Wadena this afternoon & gone to Elgin this eve we have our hind quarters of beef left & A lot of (liver?) sun Jan 8 A stormy day snowed
