I got a letter from Russell to day I dident do very much to day slept a while this afternoon dident feel very good sun Feb 27 A chilly day I was home all afternoon the folks went to church Vern went home this morning mon Feb 28 A gloomy day chilly I have been no account today W L has gone this eve to Fred R to practice Tues Mar 1 A cold windy day W L & Lena went to Elgin this afternoon 2 Mcgregar boys came here this eve on the hunt of work we gave them there supper one is coming to work for us his name is Prescot Maby we never will see him agan Lena brot
