th Apri 28 A cold windy disagrable day rained some this afternoon thunderd but I slept through it all Sam Ogle came over after seede barley is 9 PM Fri Apri 29 A cold windy day had a thunder storm rain & hail the roads are bad agan W L & Lena went to Elgin got stuck near home worked half the afternoon to get out Dorothy went home this eve I got a letter from Russell & one from Clara Foster I am tired & sleepy I did the work while Lena went to Town sat Apri 30 A pretty good day the men worked in the field today had a heavy frost last night
