Shaffer is here for the night Fri July 1 A warm day Wallace & Ella went to Ames today Labanda Shaffer went with them Lena Mary & I went down to Flanagans to heare them broadcast heard Wallace sing pretty good we caned 7 qts strawberries & 2 qts of jam today sat July 2 A nice day quite cool this eve sun July 3 A nice day rained a little this eve Russell & Aulden both came home last night they all got in at 10 PM Wallace & Ella from Ames Russell has gone to West Union with Sam Flanagan this eve to a picture show they all had a good time at Ames them
