& 3 pints of blackberry jam Lena & Ella picked the berries this morn Tues Aug 16 A very cool day we had some rain this afternoon W L went to Elgin this afternoon & has gone to Wadena this eve Ella ironed I patched Lena sewed the men got through thrashing at Robs this fornoon got the machine home Lester Gehring had dinner here wed Aug 17 A gloomy day rained this fornoon Russell came home last night Wallace went to Elgin after him he went to West Union today had some dental work done Wallace went to Ed Gehrings this eve th Aug 18 A nice day real cool this eve this has been a busy day we had thrashers this afternoon Russell went to West Union the dentist finished filling his teeth
