Cathryn Ogle went with him he went to Wadena with Charley this eve Fri Aug 19 A nice day only so dry we had the thrashers all day I am so very tired Russell took Lena to Elgin this morning after meat & some other things for dinner sat Aug 20 A nice day is cool this eve we finished thrashing today I am glad Wallace Russell & Ella went to Wadena this eve Ella went to band practice I got a letter from Clara Foster today wanting me to come down I am going to try & go soon sun Aug 21 A nice day it commenced to rain at 5 PM is 8 now is still raining Fred & Mabes K called this morn to get Lena to help sing for a funeral
