this afternoon a little child of Harvy Howards Russell call to see Carrel Klingman a while this morn mon Aug 22 A nice day rained most all last night a glorious rain Russell & I went to Wadena this afternoon went to the creamery after some sale called at Linies Frank Pane came there while we was there Wallace went to West Union this morning took Ina Shaffer & Em Halzer they are going to make a Illyria Booth for the fair there will be others to help with it Lena washed Russell & Charley I guess Sam Flanagan went to Elgin this eve Tues Aug 23 A nice day we ironed Lena sewed some Wallace & Russell went to Elgin this fornoon has gone this eve
