a butcher come out from Wadena today & butchered a beef for us it was a Bakeman Mary went to school this morning was sliding down hill she run in a wire fence & cut her face had to go after her I haven't felt very good all day Tues Dec 20 not a bad day Wallace & Lena went to West Union today they said the road was fine went with the car wed Dec 21 A nice winter day & the shortest day in the year Wallace was at Elgin & Wadena today went back to Elgin this eve to cow tester banquet I am so tired & sleepy Lena washed today
