Ella & Russell went to Elgin this afternoon Russell got me a new pare of gloves are very nice Aulden helped I F Shaffer saw wood so this eve he & Russell went to West Union after Miss Libets Auldens girl so she is here for the night we caned 13 qts of beef we caned the same amt Saturday good night I am sleepy Tues Dec 27 A nice day thawed a lot Russell & I went to Wadena this morning I was scared stiff the roads got so slippery had to put the chanes on the car Aulden & Edith went to (illegible) this afternoon Russell went with them will go on to Cedar Rapids from there
