Mon Feb 13 A rainy gloomy day Russell went back to his school work to day Wallace took him to Elgin to take the train this morning he will ride all night from Cedar Rapids I am so sleepy & tired Tues Feb 14 A gloomy day snowed most all day not cold Lena & I tied a comforter is a real nice one wed Feb 15 A nice day over head & clear under foot Lena washed I haven't felt very good today have a cold th Feb 16 it showed today is colder this eve we worked on a quilt this afternoon Fri Feb 17 A very stormy morning snowed
